Golf Club Mimics the Surrounding Dunes

US and Switzerland-based firm, Oppenheim Architecture has designed a stunning golf club that mirrors the surrounding desert dunes. The club is part of the first phrase of construction for the Ayla Oasis, a 17 square mile leisure development in Aqaba, Jordan. The building’s undulating form was made using sprayable concrete called shotcrete, which can be applied to existing framework to create curved surfaces. An orange pigment was also added to the concrete to further blend the structure with the landscape.
