The low table, or coffee table, is a modern convention that encourages conversation, organizes seating, and provides a useful serving surface at a comfortable height. It is hard to imagine an interior without one. The Dorset Table is cleanly modern with a strong scale and handsomely detailed stepped top. A sturdy lower shelf set into tapered legs is an ideal place for books and favorite objects.
