Cherry or mahogany, faux ivory escutcheon with brass keyhole, mirror

Designed by Maxine Snider

The Grande Salon Table is derived from the late 18th century tradition of tables placed against the wall in the larger drawing or dining room, adaptable for a variety of uses, and providing a large surface for serving food or displaying treasures. The Grande Salon Table's ambitious scale and strong form suggest furniture as architecture.
